The longstanding partnership between APGS and the Academy of Music and Performing Arts (AMPA) aims to advance the quality of performing and creative arts education in Australia.


APGS students benefit directly from this partnership through weekly access to world class tertiary facilities and industry experts in the CAPA program, along with opportunities to rehearse and perform in the Tom Mann Theatre.

Upon completion of Year 12, APGS graduates are entitled to a range of partnership benefits when enrolling in one of the following AMPA courses, including a tuition fee subsidy, early offers and direct entry options:

The Academy of Music and Performing Arts (AMPA) is Australia's leading provider of music and dance degrees.

The Bachelor of Dance is widely acknowledged as Sydney’s only performance-driven dance degree, and develops highly skilled, creative and versatile dance artists in a highly supportive environment. Students complete advanced studies in a genre of choice plus additional supporting techniques, along with a range of complementary studies and electives. There is an extensive curriculum in choreography along with 3 major showcases each year.
